They’re thin and seamless.
I was very excited when pimple patches first hit the scene. It seemed like they were literally made for (people like) me. In theory, they should absorb all the yuckiness of a pimple, protect it from getting worse, prevent you from picking at it, and speed up the healing process. The problem is, most, if not all, of the ones I’ve tried fall short of these promises. Plus, they’re so visible, it’s more embarrassing than an actual pimple. But, I have found a singular exception, and it’s Panoxyl’s PM Overnight Spot Patches.
I need something like a pimple patch—I have a proclivity for picking at my skin and I’m prone to hyperpigmentation. This is a cursed combination that ensures a cycle of bad skin; even when I’m not breaking out, my skin is healing from the damage my fingers have done. However, in the last few months that I’ve been using Panoxyl’s spot patches, my skin has become markedly better.

There is only one ingredient in Panoxyl’s patch and it’s not really an “ingredient” per set, but rather the hydrocolloid material that it’s made of. It’s the common ingredient used in (almost, if not) all pimple patches. But it’s like the difference between having an expensive glass of wine from the Tuscan hills and a $7 bottle of Yellow Tail; Panoxyl’s quality is simply better, though in this case not 50 times more expensive.
I can’t tell you what the specific magic is in Panoxyl’s PM Overnight Spot Patches, but these patches are the thinnest I’ve tried, seamlessly blending in with skin. I use them any time of day, and they prevent those deep under skin blemishes that I can feel but not see from coming to a head. They flatten existing pimples and neutralize their redness. When I take one of these patches off, you’d never know my skin was having a temper tantrum.
Panoxyl’s PM Overnight Spot Patches now have a permanent spot in my vanity, too. Shop them for $9 on Amazon, and check out more of my blemish must-haves below.
