What if Sex And The City traded New York for Park City? Sarah Jessica Parker hit the Utah streets ahead of the 2025 Sundance Film Festival dressed in a look that could just as easily belong on Carrie Bradshaw.
The actor is at Sundance to promote her documentary, The Librarians, but given her Carrie-core outfit, we’d just as easily believe she was shooting a scene for And Just Like That… Parker emulated her character’s haphazard, layering-heavy looks, pairing a voluminous dress with a parka—a trend all over the spring 2025 runways (one that my colleague José Criales-Unzueta did indeed note was very Bradshaw-esque).
Parker centered her outfit around a charcoal gray dress that featured a corseted top and a full ruffled skirt with black tulle peaking out from underneath. Undeterred by the winter temperatures, she layered the dress over a dark blue button-up. But the layering didn’t stop there! SJP bundled up in a chunky gray knit cardigan and a black parka. Though, true to form for both Parker and her alter ego, she left all of her jackets open because fashion comes first.
No Carrie-core outfit is complete without some extreme accessorizing—namely in the shoe department. But there are no Manolos here. Instead, she wore a pair of knee-high fuchsia suede boots from her discontinued Sarah Jessica Parker line, along with a pair of skiing-appropriate goggle sunglasses. SJP finished off the look with some ladylike touches: a gray quilted Chanel bag and a string of pearls. Carrie would more than certainly approve.
