Celebrities have to know what they’re in for with their prime-time seats at major basketball games—the cameras will suddenly pan to you and your seat pal, and you better be ready. Just as Emily Ratajkowski, Olivia Rodrigo, and any of the Jenner-Kardashians. Sitting courtside requires some good humor and even better fashion. Luckily for Sydney Sweeney, she exudes both.
The actor sat up front for the Brooklyn Nets game on Tuesday (January 21) as they faced off against the New York Knicks. Sweeney showed some sartorial support by wearing the Nets’ black-and-white colors, in full Celine. She wore an embroidered white Triomphe tank with a short black leather jacket, low-rise flare jeans, leather ankle boots, and the brand’s Camille bag. Sweeney kept her signature long blonde hair curly, with a nude pink lip and rosy pink blush.
The actor was there with her young The Housemaid costar Indiana Elle, who wore a baby blue leather jacket with ‘Brooklyn’ emblazoned across its front. Over on Instagram, 11-year-old Indiana wrote, “When I was little I used to ask every famous young woman I was lucky enough to meet if they could babysit me and then last night, my awesome and incredible costar @sydney_sweeney asked if SHE could babysit ME! See, sometimes #dreamsdocometrue!” Very sweet.
The Housemaid is an adaptation of Freida McFadden’s popular psychological thriller of the same name, and stars Sweeney and Indiana Elle alongside Amanda Seyfried and Brandon Sklenar. Sweeney plays Millie, a struggling young woman who finds a fresh start as a housemaid to the wealthy and well-to-do couple Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar). The story unravels into a dark and twisty tale of family secrets.
Sweeney, who recently wrapped filming on her boxing champion biopic, has spent the last week in New York showcasing an impressive collection of coats and cold weather fits.
Stylist Molly Dickson has been pulling fantastically for Sweeney’s trips out into the cold New York evenings: a sumptuous Ferragamo cape, Brunello Cucinelli suiting, Burberry and Chloe corduroys and trenches. Slam dunks across the board.
