It may be far from summery temperatures in New York City, but that isn’t stopping Suki Waterhouse from adapting her warm weather wardrobe for winter.
In the grand tradition of Alexa Chung, Waterhouse layered a pair of blue jean shorts with a raw hem over a pair of low-denier gray tights. She styled the bottoms with a beige mélange T-shirt which she layered underneath an oversized multicolored faux fur coat from Isabel Marant.
Befitting the indie sleaze revival, Waterhouse accessorized her look with a pair of small oval sunglasses, a black crossbody bag, and slouchy black leather boots with gold hardware—also Isabel Marant. The sleaziest accessory of all? Her wired headphones.
This isn’t the first time the singer, actor, and model has embraced the grungy look. Last week she channeled her ’70s glam rock side in an oversized faux fur coat from The Frankie Shop and a pair of dramatic flared blue pants. If that wasn’t enough of a bid to return to the Tumblr era, Suki Waterhouse just made a strong case with her shorts over tights.
