If you’re ever looking to spot some celebrities enjoying a winter getaway, Aspen is certainly the destination to keep your eye on. The ritzy Colorado ski town has been filled with A-listers recently: Stars like Bella Hadid, Mariah Carey, Heidi Klum, and Jennifer Lopez have all decided to hit the slopes there—or, in some cases, just partake in the après-ski activities instead (bring on the hot chocolate!). Of course, anyone who has been to Aspen knows that dressing up in your chicest and coziest winter outfits is half the fun, and Lopez in particular has not been disappointing on that front.
Call Lopez’s Aspen style part après-ski, part country-western, and part signature J.Lo. Take one of her very first outings, when she emerged wearing a fur-lined parka with a chunky turtleneck sweater, leggings (presumably heat-tech), and fur snow boots. Complete with her giant shield shades, she was covered up in the boldest way possible. A few days later, Lopez grabbed coffee in a Fair Isle shawl-collar sweater, complete with baggy jeans and platform Uggs. (This being a J.Lo fit, she had to finish it off again with giant shades, of course.)
Lopez has even experimented with a country-western fashion vibe while in Aspen, too. A few days ago, she wore an oversized chore jacket with lug-sole boots and a brimmed white cowboy hat, complete with a feather detail. Considering she was spotted with Yellowstone star Kevin Costner earlier in the week, perhaps his signature ranch style on the show is rubbing off on her. She did pay a visit to the famous cowboy hat store Kemo Sabe while in town, so perhaps she was just showing off her new purchases. Whatever the case, cowgirl style looks good on her. Who needs to ski when you can serve style instead?
