From Dakota Fanning to Selena Gomez, the stars showed up and showed out.
The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards brought out television's biggest stars for an evening of jaw-dropping fashion at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles. E! red carpet host Laverne Cox held her own amongst her famous interview subjects, wearing a vintage black Alexander McQueen gown with gold embroidery, gorgeously accented with 1960s Paco Rabanne chain jewelry.
Early standouts included Netflix stars like Dakota Fanning, nominated for her work in Ripley, who shined bright in an Armani Privé strapless gold silk satin gown sprinkled with pearls and crystals, and 3 Body Problem actress and InStyle cover star Eiza González, who served up major Barbiecore vibes in a pink sequined Tamara Ralph gown accessorized with brilliant diamond David Yurman earrings.
Legendary TV hosts also brought major style to the proceedings, like Alan Cummings of The Traitors, who wore a custom plaid number. and Top Chef's Padma Lakshmi and RuPaul Charles, who both wore silvery sparkles.

Laverne Cox in Vintage Alexander McQueen
The red carpet host looked stunning in a vintage black Alexander McQueen gown that had gold floral embroidery blooming throughout. Cox continued the vintage vibes by accessorizing her look with gold Paco Rabanne chain jewelry from the 1960s.
Dakota Fanning in Giorgio Armani
Nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her role in Ripley. Fanning looked every bit the Hollywood starlet in a gold silk satin look from Giorgio Armani. A pearl and crystal tulle overlay added a fabulous flare to Fanning's gown.
Alan Cumming in Teddy VonRonson
Host of The Traitors Alan Cumming gave a nod to his Scottish roots with a custom suit by men's fashion designer Teddy VonRonson. A black kilt-like skirt and a tartan sash and bowtie gave the outfit the perfect amount of tongue-in-cheek camp.

Star of Fallout and Yellowjackets Ella Purnell glistened in a silver chainmail dress from Rabanne. The '70s-inspired dress featured a plunging neckline and was the perfect look for any red carpet affair or night out at the disco.

Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson took our breath away in a Georges Chakra couture dress with a dramatic fish-tail skirt. The black ensemble was made from a holographic-like fabric that shined throughout the night and was punctuated by silk bows.

Japanese actress and star of Hulu's Shogun Anna Sawai set the red-carpet on fire in a fiery scarlet custom Vera Wang number. The dress, styled by Karla Welch, highlighted Sawai's figure with a dramatic, sweet-heart bustline and tiered skirt. Cartier earrings added sparkle to her look.
