She's committed to the serve.
Beep, beep! Kim Kardashian is coming through with nothing stopping her slay (not even a broken foot).
On Thursday, the reality star wheeled up to the SKIMs flagship store opening in Midtown Manhattan while debuting a brand-new accessory: a knee scooter. Despite her injury, Kardashian still dressed to impress and pulled out her tallest heels to wear on both feet. For the occasion, she sported an all-cream outfit that consisted of a plunging zip-up corset top and matching skintight pants. But rather than a boot, or a practical pair of shoes, Kardashian opted for sky-high acrylic platforms with a sharp, skinny heel.
Earlier this week, Kardashian disclosed that she had a broken foot on her Instagram Story without revealing how she got injured, writing: “FML broken foot for the holidays.”
She finished off her look with a small handbag that hung off the handlebar of her scooter and half-up, half-down hairstyle with new, long curtain bangs. A glossy pink lip, feathery lashes, and a generous swirl of blush to both cheeks completed her glam.
Ahead of the event, Kardashian discussed the store opening with Women’s Wear Daily, referring to the launch as “such a proud moment.” “When we started Skims, we obviously had high hopes, but I never thought of retail and how that would look. We were very focused on direct-to-consumer and everything online,” she said, adding: “So a Fifth Avenue store exceeds all of the expectations that I had.”
