Snag these small-but-mighty festive finds from $6.
Every year without fail, opening my stocking is my favorite part of Christmas morning. While the wrapped presents under the tree are exciting, most of the time, they’re gifts I directly asked for. My stocking, on the other hand, is filled with a mystery hodge podge of items, making the reveal much more exciting.
Given how much I look forward to this unveiling, I have strong opinions on what should and shouldn’t be a stocking stuffer. Size is obviously a factor, but so is practicality. The best stuffers are things you wouldn’t think to buy yourself, or things you’re always running out of. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to receive items that infuse a touch of luxury or coziness into your everyday routine.
Although I’m still weeks away from opening my stocking, I’m already in the holly jolly spirit, and I’ve decided to celebrate by curating a list of stocking stuffers I’d actually want to receive. Oh, and did I mention they’re all $10 or under? You’re welcome.

I’m a hair care lover through and through, so I have no problem splurging on a new shampoo or a deep conditioning mask. Fun hair accessories, however, often slip my mind, which is why items like silk scrunchies and shiny claw clips are on my list. Since I use heat on my hair, I love that silk scrunchies don’t leave a crease, which saves me from having to re-straighten. Plus, they don’t pull too tightly, avoiding any damage. And, although it’s rare to find claw clips that actually stay in place, I’ve previously owned this Kitsch one and can confirm it does the trick. Not to mention, the gold metal design looks much chicer than plastic options.

If you have skin care snobs on your list, I’ve got you covered, too. Anyone would be lucky to receive an ice roller, and this depuffing option is just $7. And while I own more lip balms than I can count, I’d be more than happy to be gifted a new lip mask, which feels a bit more indulgent. You can’t go wrong with anything from Burt’s Bees, so check out the brand’s Overnight Lip Treatment while it’s on sale for $9.
You can also give the gift of self-care this holiday season. I recently bought myself a spa headband, but if I hadn’t, it’d be the number one item on my wish list—it keeps my hair out of the way when I’m washing my face, and it happens to look adorable. Gifts like satin pillow cases and collagen-infused eye masks are also a great way to make someone’s routine feel more lavish.
