It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s—a handbag? Angelina Jolie stepped out in Paris yesterday, where she was seen arriving to the set of her latest film, Stitches; you could probably see her luxurious leather tote from space. The star is no stranger to carrying around an oversized bag, of course: She loves carting around XXL totes, having already schlepped big designer styles from Saint Laurent and Celine. Clearly, she is a woman with many needs—you could fit an entire weekend’s worth of clothes and toiletries in some of her ludicrously capacious bags.
But back to her latest ginormous tote. The expensive-looking brown style is also by Saint Laurent. Dubbed the Y tote, it retails for a cool $3,600, and the dimensions are 14.6" x 12.6" x 8.7”—talk about roomy! Sure, the rest of her ensemble—including a wool peter pan-collar overcoat, knit skirt, and ballet flats—were perfectly polished, but we can’t stop thinking about the bag. And, more importantly, all of the items she could fit in there. So, without further ado, and for absolutely no reason at all except boredom, here are 13 things that Angelina could fit in her mega-sized carry-all.
- 24 golden Academy Awards—to join the two she already has at home, of course.
- three regular-sized bowling balls. (Why she is going bowling, we do not know.)
- 10 small Pilaf-sized dogs. Woof!
- five horned headpieces. (We need Maleficent 3 to finally come out.)
- 107 loose pairs of sunglasses. An A-lister needs her sunnies.
- 12 reusable metal water bottles. Gotta stay hydrated!
- 423 sheets of temporary tattoo stickers, to be paired with her epic real ones.
- Two Hector-sized dogs. Woof-woof!
- Eight pairs of chic ballet flats, her signature shoe.
- Three 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops. One for her acting work, one for directing, and one for personal.
- 21 Strathmore notebooks; she has clothes to design for Atelier Jolie.
- 30 packs of peanut M&Ms. Do we think Angie enjoys a cheeky 3 p.m. pick-me-up?
- Nine extra-long baguettes. She is in Paris, oui?
