She added a "very demure" accessory.
Just hours after bringing some major sparkle to the red carpet in a feathered Elie Saab creation, Eva Longoria leaned into aviation-core for her latest appearance. On December 6, the Desperate Housewives alum stepped out at a Red Sea Film Festival photocall in a retro flight attendant-inspired look paired with divisive sheer shoes.
While a glamorous sculptural gown is Longoria’s red carpet calling card, she went for a decidedly different look at Friday’s In Conversation With Eva Longoria event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Posing along with festival director Kaleem Aftab, the actress wore a long-sleeved slate gray dress that hit just above her ankles. The collared bodice was accented with a skinny black leather tie and a side pocket with a red pocket square peeping out. In contrast to her top’s baggy silhouette, her body-con skirt hugged her figure, starting with a waist-cinching black belt.
For her accessories, Longoria paid homage to the coquette trend with a very demure black bow, which she used to pull her brunette waves into a half-up hairstyle with long, face-framing pieces. Diamond rings and large diamond stud earrings added some subtle sparkle to her look. While her vintage-inspired outfit looked like it could have been from the Pan Am era, she went all modern for her footwear. The star wore a pair of sheer black mesh pumps that showed off her feet, and a burgundy manicure and a glossy mauve lip finished off her look.
It was Longoria’s second red carpet appearance that day, as the actress turned heads in a strapless gown from Elie Saab’s fall 2024 couture collection at Friday’s Women in Cinema event. For the red carpet, she posed in the black jewel-encrusted gown, which clung to her body and flared out at the bottom in a mermaid style. The dress featured an ombre colorway, with the black transitioning into a purple hue, as well as dark purple feathers which started at her hips and gradually became a light lavender at the bottom.
Pulling her dark hair back into a sleek bun, Longoria added diamond drop earrings, a smokey eyeshadow, and matte nude lips.
