Is Kris Jenner wearing the Chanel jacket from The Devil Wears Prada? Yeah, she is.
While we’d generally expect her to go for more of a Miranda Priestly vibe, the momager hit the town in London channeling her inner downtrodden assistant-turned-fashion girlie Andy Sachs. Jenner wore the very same double-breasted navy bouclé blazer from Chanel’s cruise 2005 collection. And with the musical adaptation of the movie now underway across the pond, we can only wonder if Jenner will be in attendance.
Unlike Andy’s glitzy paillette-covored top, heap of gold necklaces, green crocheted bag—and, the Chanel boots, of course—Jenner opted for a more monochromatic look. She wore her jacket over a black scoop-neck top and added black suede thigh-high boots with a patent leather cap toe. The only hint of color came from the blazer’s yellow-trimmed patch. She did, however, choose a tweed skirt to complement the jacket’s silver sequin trim.
If you think Jenner’s famous Chanel jacket is the only fashion flex in her outfit, you’d be sorely mistaken. In a black leather gloved hand, she carried a black alligator mini Hermès Kelly—which fetches up to $120,000 on the secondhand market. While the archival blazer (which will reach official vintage status next year) sold on The RealReal for $3,900, it’s still available on the likes of eBay and Farfetch for up to $15,694. But being in fashion community with Andy Sachs and Kris Jenner? Priceless.
