Kendall Jenner just delivered the textbook example of high-low dressing. The model was spotted in Calabasas yesterday, dressed in a cozy, yet elevated take on an unfussy errands outfit.
Jenner bundled up in a brown silk-cashmere knit wrap cardigan from The Row. While she’s never been someone to lean too hard on trends, Jenner’s sweater contains two up-and-coming elements we expect to see lots more of in 2025. She chose a robe silhouette, which echoes the mounting bathrobe trend, in a chocolatey shade of brown—an already-hot color this season, amplified by Pantone’s proclamation that “mocha mousse” is the color of 2025.
It should come as no surprise that, as the poster child of the “quiet luxury” movement, Jenner’s lowkey look includes at least one piece from The Row. In this case, she added a second piece, carrying a black leather tote over her shoulder.
But Jenner balanced out her $4,850 sweater with a pair of $150 shoes. While the top half of her look was pure luxury, the bottom half of her outfit—a pair of black leggings tucked into brown knit socks and a pair mini Ugg boots—was far more accessible. Jenner has been spotted in her beloved shearling-lined ankle boots for years now. It just goes to show that, no matter what, sometimes nothing is more luxe than slipping into a pair of comfortable shoes.
