While Katie Holmes and Zoey Deutch may be playing mother and daughter in the Broadway production of Our Town, offstage they look more like work wives.
Over the last few weeks, Holmes has been loyal to her off-white Le Cambon purse from Manu Atelier, a 35-centimeter top-handle bag with a telltale skinny belt detail. Yesterday, on a particularly brisk day in New York, Holmes paired the bag with a black reversible faux fur coat from Stand Studio worn over a long white shirtdress, a black turtleneck, and black leather boots.
The catch-all bag has served as everything from Holmes’s gym bag to her rainy-day go-to. Now, it seems as though she’s passed her love of the bag onto her onstage daughter, Deutch, who was spotted yesterday toting around her very own Le Cambon. Deutch opted for a chocolate brown suede iteration, which she paired with a monochrome look. She bundled up in a brown puffer jacket, which she styled with brown pinstripe trousers, leather shoes, and rectangular, yellow-lensed sunglasses.
Given that we spend more time with our coworkers than our own families, it’s no wonder our colleagues influence our style—even subliminally. Perhaps Katie Holmes and Zoey Deutch can relate.
