And she's nailing the trend, obviously.
Angelina Jolie might be in her more demure fashion era, but that doesn’t mean she’s stopped taking chances on the red carpet altogether.
During recent Italian getaway, the Maria actress attended day three of the 42nd annual Torino Film Festival on November 24. For the occasion, Jolie tapped into the office siren trend and wore a sleek outfit on the red carpet that consisted of a slouchy V-neck sweater in black, paired with a fitted high waisted midi skirt that extended down to her calves.
Comfort and class was also at the top of Jolie’s mind, as she walked the carpet for the event in one of the most controversial Y2K shoe trends at the moment—a ballerina flat in black suede, with a rounded toe. The 49-year-old completed the look with a long beige coat worn over her shoulders for when it got too cold, and kept her accessories minimal, only wearing a pair of simple gold hoops and a gold bangle on her wrist.
This isn’t the first time in recent weeks that Jolie has opted for an all black look. It’s one of her signature go-to’s at this point in her career—for her November 12 outing in New York City, she wore a black plisse goddess dress with a sash waist and a flowing maxi skirt and kept herself warm with a kimono-inspired embroidered jacket. That following day, Jolie went glam in a long black coat dress with that cinched at the waist and extended into a full skirt, pairing the sleek look with sky high black pumps.
Jolie’s most recent risk-taking look came in the form of a thrifted gown from The Kit Vintage, which she wore alongside her 16-year-old son, Knox, for their mother-son date at the 2024 Governors Awards.
