I hope you have all mentally and financially prepared yourselves for the Black Friday and Cyber Monday season. Yes, season—what started out as a single-day event became a long weekend shindig with the advent of the internet. Now, it’s blossomed into a two-week (ish) long series of discounts and sales that’s like a sport to shop.
We’re more than halfway through November, which means these early Black Friday deals are well underway. As a beauty editor, I have been noting the skin care, hair care, and makeup deals of interest—a.k.a., almost imploding my computer from 1,000 open tabs. But my suffering bears fruit; here’s a succinct 21-strong list of the best deals from all corners of the internet.
The 4 Overall Best Early Black Friday Beauty Deals
Cosrx Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence
$25 $20 at Amazon
- Buy one, get one free: Solawave Neck and Chest Rejuvenating LED Kit, $329 (Originally $351); solawave.co
- The cream of the (foundation) crop: Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Liquid Foundation, $24 (Originally $58); net-a-porter.com
- Pura D’Or Anti-Thinning Biotin Shampoo and Deep Moisturizing Conditioner, $40 (Originally $60); amazon.com
- A good time to restock: Cosrx Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, $20 (Originally $25); amazon.com
Picking my favorite beauty deals was hard, but I really do think these four are the cream of the crop. There is, of course, the absurdly popular Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence, an Hourglass foundation that never goes on sale, and a growth-enhancing shampoo-conditioner duo with 20,000-plus five-star ratings. I saved the best for last—the Solawave Neck and Chest Rejuvenating LED Kit which is on double (perhaps triple) sale.
Solawave Neck and Chest Rejuvenating LED Kit
$351 $329 at Solawave.co
About once a year, Solawave has a massive double sale—it discounts its skin care devices and makes them buy-one-get-one-free. It’s an ideal time for this, too—you can treat yourself and knock off at least one person from your holiday shopping list.
For the first time (to my knowledge), every single device is included in the BOGO promotion, and I recommend going with the neck and chest device. It brings TLC to an area that is more prone to neglect than the spoiled child that is your face.
LED therapy is legit—it’s basically an all-in-one anti-aging treatment. It produces more elastin, hyaluronic acid, and collagen meaning plumper, more hydrated, more elastic skin.
6 Best Editor-Approved Hair Care Deals
I can’t imagine that the deals on hair care are going to get much better during actual Black Friday (November 29) than they are right now. T3’s Featherweight StyleMax Dryer is not just a good blowdryer, it’s the best for fine hair, according to InStyle’s rigorous testers. On the opposite end, there’s Foreo’s Peach 2 Go, my favorite hair removal device of all time. You’ll also find a handful of hair-thickening treatments, shampoo sets, and more.
- A go-to Jennifer Garner brand: Virtue Flourish Thinning Hair Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Mask Bundle, $94 with coupon (Originally $156); amazon.com
- T3 Featherweight StyleMax Dryer, $150 (Originally $200); nordstrom.com
- Foreo Peach 2 Go IPL Hair Removal Device, $189 (Originally $299); foreo.com
- L’Oreal Paris Colorsonic Hair Color Device, $99 (Originally $125); target.com
- A surprisingly steep discount: Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Leave-In Styling Hair Cream, $15 (Originally $30); amazon.com
- 20,000-plus five-star ratings: Wild Growth Hair Oil, $9 (Originally $13); amazon.com
Virtue Flourish Thinning Hair Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Mask Bundle
$156 $94 at Amazon
Everyone (excuse the slight hyperbole) wants thicker, fuller hair. On one side, there are bottles of snake oil, and on the other is Virtue’s Flourish Thinning Hair line. Thanks to a coupon, this three-product set is on double sale, making the bang even more worth your buck.
It comes with a shampoo, conditioner, and (individually out-of-stock) hair mask—each tackles thinning hair by strengthening strands, fastening growth, and improving thickness. A 55-year-old shopper with “thinning hair” called the Virtue Flourish Shampoo “worth the cost” thanks to the “thicker, healthier, and full” strands it gave them.
Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Leave-In Styling Hair Cream
$30 $15 at Amazon
Olaplex’s No. 6 Bond Smoother Cream is another celebrity favorite. Off the top of my head, I can tell you that it’s been used on Julianne Moore, Margot Robbie, and Lana Del Rey this year alone. The treatment, formulated with the brand’s patented bond-building technology, is able to deeply penetrate and get inside strands. Once it’s in there, it repairs damage, strengthens, lessens shedding, and mitigates frizz.
One of the nearly 42,000 five-star review shoppers said this Olaplex treatment “brought life back” to their damaged hair. “It made [my hair] thicker, smoother, helped my dead ends…and helped it grow so much.”
Wild Growth Hair Oil
$13 $9 at Amazon
Although I can’t relate, I know many people who won’t use beauty products with too many ingredients they’re unfamiliar with. In the hair care arena, it’s not limiting when you have options like Wild Growth’s Hair Oil.
The now-$9 oil is formulated with coconut, jojoba seed, peppermint, and olive oils. The result is a DHT- (a hormone that causes hair loss) blocking, growth phase elongating, and strand strengthening treatment. One of the 20,000 five-star shoppers said it made their hair “grow like a weed.”

As for makeup—Mac’s liquid glitter eye shadow is all you need for a festive 30-second holiday beat. If you’re a lip oil person, finish off your shopping with Fenty’s trio. If you’re a balm person, opt for Glossier’s Balm Dotcom trio instead.

CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream
$22 $17 at Amazon
CeraVe’s products are already affordable, so it’s an extra treat when they’re discounted. There are a few qualifying items in this group, but I’ll direct your attention to the Skin Renewing Night Cream.
Being a night cream, this is a relatively thick and potent moisturizer. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid, peptides, ceramides, and niacinamide. It’s like a multivitamin for your face. You’re looking at moisturizing, plumping, wrinkle-reducing, collagen-producing, and skin tone evening benefits.
A senior shopper—who is just one of the 36,000-plus five-star reviewers—said this has made their skin “feel plump, firm, and glowing… [their] fine lines have disappeared.”
Peter Thomas Roth Max Retinol Fusion PM Eye Cream
$55 Buy Now for $39
This eye cream targets the big three concerns—texture, dark circles, and wrinkles. The titular retinol in this formula is not run-of-the-mill; it’s both encapsulated and time-released. To put it simply(ish), the first term means the retinol doesn’t make direct contact with your skin’s surface layer, a.k.a., no irritation. The second feature means the retinol is slowly released to your skin throughout your beauty sleep.
A shopper on the brand’s website (where it’s not on sale) wrote, “it truly reduced my fine lines under my eyes and crows feet dramatically,” in a matter of weeks.
True Botanicals Phyto-Retinol Vitamin A Booster
$120 $96 at Credo Beauty
Think of this True Botanicals Phyto-Retinol Vitamin A Booster as a dietary supplement—you incorporate it into your skin care routine when it needs a little boost.
The little capsules (which actually look like supplements) are packed with carrot root, amaranth plant, and the Amazonian buriti fruit. It’s a combination that does, well, everything; it prevents the degradation of collagen, increases elastin, fades hyperpigmentation, sheds dullness, and combats existing wrinkles.
One shopper said it took just three weeks for them to notice “brighter, smoother skin” and “less pronounced” wrinkles. A 57-year-old shopper said their skin looks so “clear, glowing, and luminous” that they now “go without makeup.”
Black Friday is always a little panic-inducing, even for the most seasoned shoppers. Get ahead of it with BOGO LED masks, discounted snail mucin, and so much more, so scroll back up and grab the best of the best, according to me.
