Stars gathered to celebrate American fashion
Some of the biggest names in the fashion industry gathered in New York's American Museum of Natural History to celebrate the 2024 CFDA awards. Held annually, the award ceremony spotlights established and emerging designers shaping the fashion landscape and has become a must-see red carpet event.
The evening’s affairs were hosted by Wicked star and red-carpet phenom Cynthia Erivo, where Erykah Badu was bestowed with the Fashion Icon Award. Other winners from the evening included Jamaican womenswear designer Rachel Scott of Diotima and Latinx designers Willy Chavarria and Raul Lopez, who were awarded Menswear and Accessory Designer of the Year, respectively.
While the designers may have won the actual awards, plenty of celebs served up winning styles. See ahead for the chicest looks from the 2024 CFDA awards.

The South African singer, whose stylist Katie Qian recently won an InStyle Imagemakers Award, turned heads in a vintage Gucci black sheer dress from Tom Ford’s 1996 collection for the brand. Tyla’s timelessly flirty look shows why Ford’s reign at the brand has become so celebrated over the years.
