Last week, InStyle hosted its inaugural Imagemaker Awards, honoring the creative visionaries behind the most influential and boundary-pushing celebrity looks. Of course, it was an extremely stylish room, with stars like Lana Del Rey, Chrissy Teigen, and Kristen Stewart punctuating their fashion moments with equally stunning beauty touches.
Inside the event, a touch-up station powered by TRESemmé and featuring their new TRESemmé Flawless Curls Mousse kept hair full and voluminous. Camila Cabello, with her feathered fringe and waist-grazing waves, and Laverne Cox, whose honey brunette lengths were woven into a half-up with retro victory rolls, supplied head-swiveling hair looks.
Soft, nude-toned hues reigned supreme on the makeup front, from Lucy Hale’s dusty rose lip to Chrissy Teigen’s smoky eyes. A standout in this spirit was Del Rey, with her velvety matte skin, espresso-tinged cat eyes, and glossy lips lined with Ortega Beauty’s Soft Contour Lip Liner in Beso.
“My inspiration for Lana’s look was to bring out her timeless, ethereal beauty while adding a touch of classic glamour,” her makeup artist Etienne Ortega tells InStyle. “I wanted to keep it soft and romantic, playing with warm tones that complement her signature style. The goal was to capture that dreamy, iconic essence she embodies naturally.”
