Suki Waterhouse has done it all. First she was a model, covering British Vogue alongside Cara Delevingne and Georgia May Jagger in 2015; then she became a successful recording artist (you’ll likely know her song “Good Looking” from TikTok) and actress, playing keyboardist Karen Sirko in the hit Prime Video limited series Daisy Jones & The Six. (Her second album, called Memoirs of a Sparklemuffin, is out in September.)
This past spring, Suki added on yet another hat, becoming a new mom. Just 10 weeks after giving birth to a daughter with her longtime partner, Robert Pattinson, Suki and baby appeared on British Vogue’s August 2024 cover. “She kind of likes being on set,” Suki told Chioma over Zoom. “I had her yesterday on a job just bouncing on the table in front of me, and she just watched me get my hair done. Now she’s three months, she’s really liking just watching everything go down.”
Earlier in the show, Olivia Marks, British Vogue’s deputy features director (and the author of Suki’s cover story) joined Chioma to chat about the latest in British news. Wimbledon was, according to Chioma, the place to be seen over the last few weeks, with celebrities there making headlines all weekend. (We’re looking at you, Margot Robbie.) And astrologer Chani Nicholas joined the pod to help explain this monumental moment in fashion, what with all the creative-director reshufflings. Chani gave us a look at the charts of some of the designers rumored to be taking the helm at Chanel—you have to listen to find out who!—and even told us what the stars were saying about this coming weekend. (Seems like it’s a good time to start decluttering.) Happy Full Moon!
