From a game-changing scalp treatment to a multi-purpose witch hazel I can’t live without.
Welcome back to: I tried so many things, here’s what changed my life! If I could have a T.V. show, I would literally name it something like “leveled-up.” And in it, I would talk about all the new products I tried that made my jaw drop, in that they changed my life for the better. And before you shake your head, hear me out, because I 100 percent believe that a product can, in fact, change your life. You just have to experience it, if you haven’t yet.
Recently, I did a thorough deep clean and refresh of all of my stuff, donating the old and trying the new—and I tried a lot of new, in all categories, like home, fashion, beauty, and more. Some items were just meh, which means I probably wouldn’t tell anyone about them, some were okay, meaning I like them, but they didn’t blow my mind, and seven made me text my mom immediately to tell her all about them. “Mama, you need to try [insert product name]” is pretty much the gist of our exchanges the past few weeks, to which she replied, “Oh wow, Eva!” She’s a supportive mom, but I also know that she and I are the same. If I like something, she’ll most likely be a fan of it, too.
Curious to see what made it into our group chat? Below, all things that I tired this season that majorly leveled-up my life. Bonus: Most things are on sale during Amazon’s Prime Day 2024 sale.

Nippies Skin Adhesive Nipple Covers
Orig. $49 $45 at Amazon
I recently had my civil ceremony in New York; for the occasion, I wore a silky Reformation dress that did not allow for a bra (duh!), so I had to go another route: nipple covers. And let me tell you, I have officially been converted. I get why Kate Hudson carries them with her everywhere, as they really do make wearing anything and everything.
Dr. Groot Scalp Revitalizing Solution Miracle In-Shower Treatment
Orig. $30 $21 at Amazon
Scalp care is hair care, and I’m only mad I’ve learned it a bit late in life. But alas, it’s never too late to adopt better habits and make changes, and one said habit I’m adding to my shower routine is covering my scalp in this game-changing Dr. Groot miracle treatment that helps cleanse build-up, infuses the scalp with nourishing moisture, and aids in stronger hair (among many other benefits of this K-beauty essential).
Megababe Sweat-Absorbing Body Powder
Orig. $16 $13 at Amazon
I sweat—a lot. Come NYC’s heat and humidity, I can barely step outside for one second before my makeup starts to melt off, I start to develop sweat stains, and my feet get a bit, well, slippery. I know, TMI, but hey, I’m here to share, and I’m not going to talk about my problems without having a solution to give you as well: the Megababe Sweat-Absorbing Body Powder that’s been a total game-changer in my life. I used it on my civil ceremony day, as well as during my Italian wedding.
Anrabess Two-Piece Lounge Set
Orig. $43 $33 at Amazon
I’ll be spending a lot of time in the air this summer, aka, on the plane, which means I need comfy, cute clothing that can take me through TSA in seconds, allow me to comfortably sit on the plane, and enable me to deboard and not look like a total mess. My solution? Cute, two-piece lounge sets, like this Amazon find that looks at least three-times its price, at least to me. It’s easy to wear, ultra-comfy, and can be dressed down with sneakers. Once I de-plane, I can swap the kicks for flats, throw in some jewelry and a red lip, and no one would guess I just spent hours in a 737.
T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Orig. $8 $7 at Amazon
I’m mad at myself for taking so long to try witch hazel. I’ve heard only the best of the best from industry insiders, but it took a really bad razor burn (TMI, again) and super oily skin for me to finally say, “I need it, now!” So, I tried this T.N. Dickinson buy that has so many great reviews on Amazon, and let me tell you, I’m never not going to have a bottle on hand. It helped soothe razor burn in seconds, has helped reduce sebum production, and feels so refreshing on my skin. TL;DR? Witch hazel is a multi-purpose product that can be used for so many things, acting as a cleanser, a soothing agent, and more. So yeah, this majorly improved my life.
L’Oréal Paris Moisture 21-in-1 Leave-In Conditioner
Orig. $13 $10 at Amazon
If you’ve read any of my past stories, you’ll know that I have been focusing on hair health. I’m picky about the products I use, and I know it takes time to find something that works for your hair type, but the second I tried this L’Oréal leave-in, I knew I would have to keep it fully stocked for the rest of my life. Too far? I don’t think so. The 21-in-1 spray (yes, really) promises to add moisture, shine, softness, and reduce frizz, among many other things, and I can wholeheartedly say it does all that.
Qinsen Square-Neck Sleeveless Double-Layer Tank Top
Orig. $33 $19 at Amazon
I’m a sucker for a flattering but simple tank top; I pretty much live in the staple all summer long, and while I wear it so much, I don’t want to break the bank for one. Enter: These Amazon tops that look and feel so luxe, but cost a reasonable $20 right now. The square neckline is so flattering, and the material so soft and smooth, I’d even compare it to Skims quality. Yes, I went there, and I think you will, too.
