The TikTok beauty phenom takes on couture week.
If you don’t know Meredith Duxbury by name, you definitely know her face. Her boundary-pushing videos (including 2021’s viral #ConcealerChallege) and hypnotic tutorials have taken TikTok by storm over the past few years, establishing her as the go-to for anyone seeking out the latest and greatest in beauty. Whether you’re looking for a cream blush review or an honest take on the latest TikTok makeup hack, Duxbury’s feed never disappoints.
She's far from just a makeup maven, though. Duxbury has established herself as a bona fide fashion girl, too, walking the runway for the likes of Christian Cowan and Diesel at fashion weeks around the world. And now, she’s coming for couture. The internet phenom sat front row at Couture Fashion Week in Paris and let us in on all the behind-the-scenes details of her look.
Ahead, get ready with TikTok creator, model, and fashion darling Meredith Duxbury for the Fall/Winter 2025 Armani Privé show on June 25.
The Fashion Backstory
"I loved the different textures in the fabrics when I saw this look on the runway; the silk pants really stood out to me and added some extra femininity to the look. Giorgio Armani Privé was kind enough to send over the full runway look, so I was lucky enough to get to wear the head-to-toe look, including the headscarf and bag!"
How She Styled Her Look
"I wanted something that would complement my hair color, and I feel like blue always looks really good with red hair."
How She Feels Wearing Armani
"This look makes me feel very confident. And honestly, it’s so comfortable! I love an outfit that you can wear for hours and feel like a million bucks without sacrificing your comfort. I loved it so much that I wore it out to dinner after the show, and it fit the Parisian evening vibes so well!"
Her Getting-Ready Playlist
"I either play Lana Del Rey or Billie Eilish—or I try to watch a show that I really enjoy. I flew into Paris this same morning and was in serious need of a hair refresh. Luckily, my hairstylist, Dimitris Giannetos, was there to rejuvenate my hair with a fresh cut and color before the show. Since the whole getting-ready process took around six hours with hair, I honestly watched and listened to a little bit of everything!"
Her Makeup Inspiration
"The runway look inspired me [to channel] the ‘60s, so we went with a light, powder blue shadow, which ended up matching perfectly with the head scarf. I also wanted to feel glam, but wanted to show my natural features, like my freckles, so I chose a look that really focused more on a dramatic eye while leaving the skin more minimal and natural."
Her Best Beauty Tips for Paris Fashion Week
"This might be a simple, yet overlooked, tip: The makeup artist I worked with, Mona Leanne, put under-eye patches on me before starting my eyeshadow. This was great, because it hydrated my under eyes while also catching the fallout of the eyeshadow, so that the skin was nice, soft, and clean for when we moved onto the base."
"I always bring lip liner and lipstick, because if any of my lip products smudge or wipe off with wear, then the look won’t feel complete. I will also say that bringing some powder and a powder puff never hurts to keep your makeup looking seamless, especially in this heat!"
Her Favorite Look From the Show
"My favorite look was this stunning sheer, long-sleeved, black lace dress with black pearls draping from the neck down to the waist. I thought it was so elegant and chic—and it was something original I haven’t seen before on a runway!"
Why She Loves Fashion Shows
"As soon as I arrived at the show, I found the energy in the room to be very creatively inspiring. I loved seeing all the effort everyone put into their outfits, and the venue was absolutely stunning. The soundtrack to this collection really made you feel all the emotions while seeing the models walk down the runway. The overall showcasing of these gorgeous gowns and couture looks that looked like they took endless hours to create was incredible."
Her After-Party Plans
"There’s nothing like a great dinner in Paris, so I met up with a friend at l’Avenue to celebrate attending my first Giorgio Armani Privé couture runway show! This day will truly go down as one for the fashion week books!"
