She also added a controversial shoe to complete her outfit.
Katy Perry is continuing to turn heads with her bold style choices during Paris Fashion Week, and her latest ensemble may just be her most daring yet.
The pop star showed up to the Balenciaga Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024-2025 show wearing two pieces from the brand: a black, ankle-length faux fur coat worn with no shirt or bra, and distressed, low-slung tights that extended into heeled boots.
The 38-year-old kept the rest of her look extremely minimal, wearing oversized black sunglasses as her only accessory. Her hair was slicked back and worn in an intricate braid down her back.
The head-turning look comes ahead of the July 11 release of Perry's forthcoming single, "Woman's World." The track will likely hail from her highly-anticipated unnamed sixth album, which fans are calling KP6.
Speaking about her new music in an August 2023 interview with Good Morning America, she said, “I haven’t put any new material out since my [daughter] Darling Daisy. I think that I’m writing a lot and have written a lot from a place of love because I’m feeling so much of it – so much unconditional love, that love you never knew existed.”
“I’m always writing, I have been, but I think what’s really important to me is to be celebrating the world that I’ve got to build with all of these wonderful songs and to be responsible for a life for a three-year-old,” she explained. “I will be back, but let me get this right.”
