Taylor Swift's not the only one with Easter eggs.
Katy Perry is taking Paris Fashion Week by storm between her barely-there leather naked dress and shower curtain-adjacent skirt. The pop star’s most recent OOTD gave a not-so-subtle nod to her forthcoming single, “Woman’s World,” by wearing a campy minidress with the longest train, maybe ever.
Perry quite literally started the roll out for her unreleased single in a one-shoulder bodycon mini with a seemingly never-ending panel train emblazoned with the lyrics of her new song in white text. The frock also included a ruched midsection and a second, much shorter Watteau train. Perry styled the statement dress over black stockings and matching pointed-toe pumps, and she accessorized with silver horn-shaped earrings. Perry's black hair was parted down the middle and styled in loose waves, and she let her dress do the talking by keeping her glam simple with fringed lashes and a mauve lip.
Fans were quick to point out the Easter egg on social media, with one spectator sharing a close-up video of the words on the seemingly endless train. “GUYS ITS THE FUCKING LYRICS qKfizufjzhfb,” the user wrote on X. Another fan wrote, “SONG OF THE SUMMER IS WRITTEN ALL OVER THAT DRESS!!”
Despite the footage of Perry and her sartorial promotional material, fans still weren't able to decipher every lyric as the train folded in on itself as Perry walked into The Ritz Hotel. The full track hits the airwaves on July 11—however, Perry's preview of the song has already gone viral on social media.
Earlier this week, Perry made her runway debut at the Vogue World: Paris catwalk in a black leather lace-style dress with too many cutouts to count and tulle flower appliqués that adorned the skirt. Perry joined other fashion veterans such as Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, and Linda Evangelista, as well as newcomers like pop girl of the moment Sabrina Carpenter and football star Joe Burrow.
