Paris Fashion Week has officially concluded, with the annual event featuring an array of dazzling and innovative looks from the industry's top designers. During the week's biggest spectacle, Vogue World, Kendall Jenner had the privilege of wearing such an ensemble. On June 23, the model strutted during runway show in the City of Light in a sheer gown with a hoop skirt that was reminiscent of Netflix's hit period drama, Bridgerton.
Jenner closed out Vogue World: Paris in Look 35 from Simone Rocha’s collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier, which takes inspirations from 1986’s Le Défilé and Countess Ellen Olenska in The Age of Innocence. The regency-style dress featured three components—a beige corseted bodysuit, a partial angular petticoat adorned with sequin star detailing that jutted out around her waist, and a floor-grazing mesh overlay that billowed in the wind as she walked.
Jenner's look was completed with clear heels, white gloves, and a bold red lip. Her hair was worn in an effortless middle part with loose waves.
Elsewhere during the event, Jenner—a proud horse girl—rode a trusty steed alongside fellow model and close friend, Gigi Hadid. The pair wore Hermès equestrian wear as they took the horses for a walk around the plaza in Place Vendôme.
According to Vogue, Vogue World: Paris was “conceived in collaboration with youth athletic academies from throughout France, pairing different sports—cycling, gymnastics, tennis, fencing, and breaking, among others—with a decade in French fashion, going back to the 1920s.”
