I feel like a Bond girl in it.
I used to hate wearing swimsuits, but then I realized that my dislike for the essential summer staple was only because I hadn’t found the perfect one for me—just yet. So, if you remember a few years back, I waxed poetic about the style that changed the game for me: a simple, timeless, super flattering one-piece from Andie Swim that made me fall in love with one-pieces again. I wore it again—and again, and again—and this year, I decided it was time to try another one of the brand’s swimwear because, why not! And let me tell you, it was just as great—if not even better.
The one-piece I tried this time around was the Mykonos one-piece, another simple best-seller from the celeb-worn brand that’s been backed by Demi Moore and Mindy Kaling. But unlike the super-sleek Amalfi, the Mykonos has some subtly sexy details that, quite frankly, make me feel like I’m a Bond girl—and I think everyone should have a least one of these on hand on days when you want to feel a bit, well, sexier.

The minute I put the Mykonos on, I was just as amazed as when I tried on the Amalfi. The fit was out of this world, with the perfect amount of butt coverage (full!) that doesn’t make me feel like I’m overly exposed, a low leg cut out that sits perfectly, removable cups for nice boob support, and of course, I’d be remiss not to mention that fabric that’s so comfy and just compressive enough to give a sculpting effect. Love! It’s basically like shapewear, which many of the brand’s suits seem to be, but you can actually wear them in oceans and pools.
The detail I love the most, though, is that plunging neckline; the Amalfi has a much more modest top, and while I usually wear more coverage, I felt like I needed to amp up my swimwear collection with a piece that was a bit more daring. The Mykonos is just that, which is why I plan on wearing it the entire time I’m at the beach for my upcoming Italian vacation. However, it still looks refined and oh-so- classy, and the same can’t be said about other plunging bikinis.
The Mykonos is available in two fabrics (smooth or ribbed, both of which are great) and a slew of colors, though I’m obviously keen on black because I find it to look the most elegant, not to mention is the most versatile, too. I can easily wear it as a top once I leave the beach, dress it up with some pearl earrings, and everyone will think I’m wearing a luxe bodysuit. Best of all? It’s technically sweat-wicking, given its water-friendly design, so this one-piece is pretty much a two-for-one: a swimsuit and a top.
