Sleepwear but make it high fashion.
Blake Lively was the epitome of ‘70s flower power as she stepped out in head-to-toe florals at the Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner. On Monday evening, the actress put a chic twist on the sleepwear-as-outerwear trend as she posed at the annual star-studded event. Staying true to her trendsetter reputation, a radiant Lively turned heads in a set of colorful Chanel pajama-inspired co-ords.
The Gossip Girl alum went shirtless under the plunging Chanel pajama suit, which was covered in bold, pastel painted flower designs, bedazzled details, and the designer's signature double-C logo. The blazer’s sparkly ornate buttons accentuated the jacket and added some extra shine to the sleeves. The set had a relaxed fit, which made it resemble (luxe) sleepwear: The top covered the waistband of her matching trousers, which were slightly tapered at the top and dramatically flared out at the bottom. The cut of the pants also offered a peep of Lively’s strappy sandals and white pedicure underneath.
The star had fun with her whimsical accessories, carrying a large black-and-silver clutch handbag and showing off a handful of colorful cocktail rings on her right hand. Lively’s manicure, which featured a fresh black-and-silver polish, matched her Chanel ‘fit, and she added some bling with large diamond stud earrings.
Lively also appeared to take inspiration from the ‘70s for her beat and hair, wearing her blond locks down in voluminous side-parted waves. A matte rose lipstick, jet black liquid liner, a shimmery champagne pink eyeshadow, and a dusting of rose blush completed her Tribeca Festival look at the Odeon.
The actress is set to star in the highly-anticipated It Ends With Us film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, so it’s likely fashion fans will be seeing more of Lively’s looks leading up to the movie’s release this year.
